Homemade garlic knots are a delicious and comfortable treatment, which is perfect as a side bowl or snack. These soft, airy knots are made of simple pizza dough, twisted in shape, then golden brown. What makes them tempting is rich garlic butter coatings, fresh garlic, infected with herbs, and sometimes a spraying of the permen cheese. Whether served to dip with marinara sauce or enjoyed on your own, homemade garlic knots are a crowd favorite that is easy to make, and even easier to eat.
Ingredients:
- 14 ounces pizza dough
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 cup salted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Instructions:
- Prepare a baking pan by lining them with parchment paper and spraying with non-pin spray. Roll pizza dough in a large rectangle.
- Cut the rectangle in half so you have 2 equal squares with flour, and cut each square into 4 strips. Cut these strips in half. Now you should have 16 (fair) similar flour.
- Roll each strip in an 8-inch rope.
- Tie the rope in a knot. You can choose whether to seal the ends below the ends; it’s just a case of preferences.
- Place each knot and sprinkle on a rod pan with parchment paper.
- Let a small room between each knot to allow them to get up. Cover the pan lightly and let the knots rise in shape. It usually takes about an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Melt the butter and stir in spices: garlic powder, parsley, and parsley. Save Parmeson used later.
- When the knots are done, brush the butter mixture to save someone later. Fry for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
- When baking, add the parmesan cheese to the remaining butter mixture.
- Let the knots cool slightly and then brush this mixture over the knots. If you want, sprinkle them with extra cheese.

Recipe Notes:
If cool, rolling the dough can be challenging. It helps to sit and reach room temperature. Homemade garlic knots can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the refrigerator for a week, best heated. They can also be frozen for 3 months, either before or after baking. If pre-baking is turned into cold, they do this after getting up.
